About the Author:
Jacqueline M. Pressey is an ordained apostolic elder and hospital chaplain who has accomplished academic excellence through His grace. She is a multitalented, multifaceted woman of God with more than thirty years of experience in ministerial leadership. Her academic career has included nineteen years in higher education as a professor and academic advisor, teaching health, wellness, fitness, and dance. Her educational accomplishments included doctoral studies and research that focused on spirituality and leadership as it relates to purpose/meaning in life, beliefs and connectedness to each other and this world.
Ms. Pressey’s educational accomplishments included a doctoral candidacy in 2007. Her doctoral research focused on spirituality and leadership as it related to purpose/meaning in life, beliefs, and connectedness to each other and this world. In 2000, she received her M.S. in Health Fitness Management from The American University where her academic’s focused on preventive care, women’s health and pre-menopausal awareness. In 1998, Jacqueline received her B.S. in Exercise Science/Health Fitness Management also from The American University. In 1997, she earned an A.S. in Exercise Science/Health Fitness Management from Montgomery College. She has lived to make a difference in this world through inspiring others to overcome life’s obstacles, health issues, challenges, and illness through pursuing excellence. It is her belief that the mind, body, soul, and spirit need to be purposefully addressed in stepping into the beauty of holiness.
