This is the true story of eight children known in Port Charlotte, Florida as the Needham family, who started off in a normal family but had an abusive father. Eventually, constant marital fights and the father's aggressiveness led to divorce, leaving the children to figure out how to survive on their own, with only a mother suffering from mental health issues left to look out for them. Over a five-year period each child experienced profound neglect, lack of supervision, and the breakdown of the family unit, forcing them to make choices they never would have made otherwise.
But by the grace of God, and through the help of ordinary people along the way, they not only survived but developed a relationship with Christ. He transformed their lives and helped them achieve above and beyond anything they could have imagined. God has a plan for each of us, but it's up to us to choose the right path and seek Him in the midst of our trials.
