Neal Humphrey, a lonely bartender, stumbles over a dead body one night at the Pearl Motel with a beautiful out-of-towner. The dead man is Humphrey’s new landlord, Tedd Archer, savagely shot in his pinstripe pajamas. Born and raised in a small town in Manitoba, Emily B. Kerros spent her bus rides to and from school reading her mom’s old collection of Nancy Drew Mysteries. Now there is nothing she loves more than a good mystery, especially golden-age classics.
