Breathe In, Breathe Out

It seems like an ordinary Saturday morning at Cora and Davie’s home when Davie suddenly has to go to the hospital! He is having a hard time catching his breath and his sister and grandma need to call for help.

With some help from the paramedics and doctors, we learn how Davie eventually gets better from his very first episode of asthma.

Adôlé Dawn is a Jamaican Canadian author who has been writing stories ever since she was in elementary school. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University. Her first book, Let’s Check Our Breath, was a story about the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene.
